Families and lovers of slow travel ("leisure tourism") are expected, on the weekend of July 24-26, 2026, in Agapia commune, Neamț county, at the first edition of the Agape Festival. Beloved clergymen will participate, including Father Pimen Vlad from Holy Mount Athos.

For three days, near the Silver Forest in Agapia, festival participants will enjoy the picturesqueness and peace of the place, test local products and meet traditional craftsmen.

They will also have the opportunity to absorb the spiritual atmosphere for which German monasteries are known, through special guests - from Neamț county and beyond its borders.

The festival will start on Friday, July 24, at 17:00, with a picnic, followed by a dialogue with Arhim. Galaction Dominte, abbot of the Botoș Monastery in Ciocănești, Suceava county. The evening will end with a guitar recital offered by the "Strune de Lumină" Group.

I also liked that Father Pimen Vlad from Mount Athos would come, it was interesting to listen to him. As for the picnic on Friday, it would be good to know if it is possible with a tent, because from Friday to Saturday it is just convenient to stay in Padurya de Argint. Can one of the organizers tell me?

Interestingly, there will be a meeting with Father Pimen Vlad on Saturday at 15:00 after the blessing. And for a picnic on Friday, it would be good to check with the organizers about tents - with children it is more convenient to stay overnight in Padura de Argint than to wander back and forth. The place is quiet, just right for a leisurely rest.

I think it is nice that Father Pimen Vlad from Athos will be there, I would like to hear what he has to say on Saturday from 15:00. For the Friday picnic, I would also like to know if it is possible to bring a small tent, or if a blanket on the grass is enough - my daughter and I would quite imagine it in Pădurea de Argint.

It’s good that Father Pimen Vlad will come from Athos; it’s always useful to listen to him. But I’m also curious about the Friday picnic in Padurea de Argint: is it possible to stay overnight with a tent or just with a blanket? My wife and I just thought that it would be convenient not to travel from Friday to Saturday.
