The chairman of the Synodal Missionary Department, Archbishop Savva of Zelenograd, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

The main report on the topic “The most pressing issues of church rehabilitation of persons who have fallen away from Orthodoxy” was presented by Andrei Ivanovich Solodkov, head of the School of Orthodox Missionary “Enlightener” of the South-Western Vicariate of Moscow, member of the Commission for Church Rehabilitation of Persons who have fallen away from Orthodoxy, under the Diocesan Council of Moscow, missionary, senior teacher of the Sretensky Theological Academy and Perervinsky Theological Seminary.

The speaker noted that since 2018, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus', a Commission for Church Rehabilitation of Persons who have fallen away from Orthodoxy has been operating under the Diocesan Council of Moscow.
