Diocesan event for Temperance Daytranslated

On Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the parish of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Brest, a diocesan event was held dedicated to the Church Day of Sobriety (September 11).

A meeting was held in the assembly hall of the Sunday school on the topic: “Rehabilitation of people addicted to alcohol and drugs. Orthodox approach. Experience of the center for restoration and personal development “Sober Business” named after St. Macarius (Nevsky).

The head of the rehabilitation center, as well as the director of the Ryazan regional charitable public organization “Sober Business”, Evgeniy Sergeevich Lednev, shared his experience with the residents of Brest. He has a difficult path of overcoming personal addiction behind him, and then more than 10 years of experience serving people as the creator and director of a rehabilitation center.
