Deaconess and psychotherapist Dumitrina Gazzi: "Complete families have the capacity to communicate, to be grateful, and to ask for forgiveness"translated

September 11, 2026 · 1 min read

More and more people feel lonely, even in the midst of their family or community. Relationships require attention, guidance, commitment, and effort to remain alive, and the unity of families can erode not only after major crises but also through a lack of dialogue, resentments, and wounds that are not healed.

Dumitrina Gazzi: Indeed, I have these four roles, but they have appeared at different stages of my life, and I had the grace necessary to integrate them. Thanks for the interview. I remembered what Mrs. Gazzi says, that she puts the role of wife first, to keep her balance. At our house, after 25 years of marriage, we still try not to let resentments build up, but sometimes it's hard without an honest chat in the evening over tea. Do you think family therapy would also help build our teenagers, not just couples?
