The release of the application became known on September 3 at a press conference at the International Multimedia Press Center of the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency, dedicated to preparations for the Procession of the Cross.

Ketevan, you are right, the network often gets stuck in the crowd. On our Moscow cruise last year, my sister's phone stopped getting internet at all, so it would have been nice to have downloaded the offline map at least if the app would have worked. What do you think, did they take this into account?

I think an offline map would really help. Last year, I was at a similar event in Bratislava, and the network went down completely when there were a few thousand people there at once. We'll see if they solved it in the app, or if people will still rely on the paper map.

I think the app is a good idea, especially since it's free, but Ana is right about the crowd network issue. Last year, during a pilgrimage to the monastery near Constanța, my phone was also blocked completely, I couldn't even call. It would be good to have an offline map as well, otherwise many people will walk around with paper in hand.
