On Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 19:55 on the Spas TV channel, a new episode of the Parsuna program will be aired by the chairman of the Synodal Department for Relations of the Church with Society and the Media, editor-in-chief of the Thomas magazine Vladimir Legoida.
The guest of this issue will be the director of the Butovo Memorial Scientific and Educational Center Igor Garkavy.
What does it mean to preserve the memory of the new martyrs? How to remain human in a man-made hell? Why do we need to learn to forgive? And what can save the soul?
Igor Garkavy will answer these and other questions in the author’s program of Vladimir Legoida on September 20 at 19:55 on “Spas”.
Structurally, each episode of the Parsuna program consists of five thematic blocks: faith, hope, patience, forgiveness and love. These themes are taken from the famous prayer of the Optina elders, which ends with the words addressed to the Lord: “Guide me by my will and teach me to pray, believe, hope, endure, forgive and love.”
The Parsuna series of programs is aired on the Spas TV channel and in an audio version on the Vera radio.
