September 8 at the Central City Library named after. D. N. Mamin-Sibiryak of the city of Nizhnyaya Tura held a round table “Dialogue of Generations” dedicated to International Literacy Day.

The event was attended by students of the Isovsky Geological Exploration College, the rector of the parish of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Priest Igor Kiselev, as well as library staff.

The meeting participants talked about the importance of literacy in human life, discussed issues of education and the role of the Russian language - as the state language of the Russian Federation and the language of interethnic communication.

During the conversation, special attention was paid to the topic of the inadmissibility of using profanity in speech. There was a meaningful and fascinating conversation about current ethical issues.
