Memorial Day of Archpriest Georgy Tobalovtranslated

August 13 marked the 18th anniversary of the death of Archpriest Georgy Tobalov, the first dean of the Istrinsky district (1992-2002). Father Georgy was buried behind the altar of the Church of the Exaltation of the Cross in the village of Darna, where he served the last time of his earthly life. At the priest’s grave, a funeral service was performed by the clergy of the Istra deanery: Priest Alexy Evstyunin, Archpriest Nikolai Elchev, Archpriest Vitaly Pelishenko and Archpriest Alexander Cheprasov. In the funeral prayer, other deceased clergy of the deanery were also remembered, their memory will last forever.
