Day of the Baptism of Rus' in the Russian Guard: meeting with a priesttranslated

On July 28, on the day of remembrance of Saint Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, a meeting took place between the cleric of the Church of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos in the city of Ulyanovsk, Priest Mikhail Lazarev, and employees and military personnel of the Russian Guard.

Before the start of the conversation, Father Mikhail performed a prayer service for the health of the personnel. Then the priest spoke about the history of the holiday and reminded that the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir is considered the heavenly patron of the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation.

Father Mikhail also noted that spiritual support and strong faith are necessary to perform official duties, and spiritual traditions are an important part of the Russian state and its historical heritage.

After the conversation, the priest answered questions from those present and blessed them, wishing them well, health and well-being.
