My parents actually had a copy of the very first issue in our house when I was a girl. It's lovely to hear how the Graham connection went back even before the magazine started. Makes you realise how one friendship can quietly shape things for decades.

Interestingly, his parents met 98 years ago at Wheaton College. Apparently, that friendship with Graham really set a lot of things in motion. We also had old issues of "Christian Life" at home, my daughter sometimes flips through them now.

It's touching how a friendship with Billy Graham lasted so long. My parents also kept a few old issues of Christian magazines at home, and my grandchildren still look through them from time to time. 98 years, it makes you think about what a meeting at Wheaton College can sow.
