The Romanian community in western Denmark has its own church: PS Macarie consecrated the place of worshiptranslated

The Romanian community in Ringkøbing-Skjern, located in western Denmark, has its own church, after the place of worship was consecrated on Saturday by the Most Reverend Father Macarie, the Bishop of Northern Europe.
His Eminence spoke about the path taken by the community to acquire and restore the church: "We give glory to the all-merciful God that we were worthy to occupy the throne of this holy place, which we purchased from the Lutheran community and which we restored, being in an advanced state of degradation."
"I remember, a few years ago, when I came here and saw this place of worship, which was abandoned and almost in ruins, and I came with the parish priest and some of the parishioners, and we first prayed to the Lord to enlighten the owners to sell us this deserted place. And God enlightened them and we got it," said the hierarch.
Bishop Macarie highlighted the involvement of the entire community in the restoration of the place of worship.
"Together with your brothers, we made an offering and managed to bring it to its current beauty, and we pray that we can decorate it even more beautifully, that this place will also wear the iconographic garment."
