The rite of blessing of chariots for participants of the Nika movementtranslated

The rector of the Elias Church in the regional village of Tevriz, priest Alexy Tishchenko, performed the “Rite of Blessing of the Chariots.” A prayerful consecration of motor vehicles was performed for participants in the Nika Orthodox youth movement.

At the end of the ceremony, Father Alexey addressed the young people with a pastoral word, reminding them of the importance of following traffic rules and being attentive to each other. He noted that any business begun with prayer and blessings will be accomplished with peace in the soul and hope in God's help.

The guys thanked the priest for his prayerful support and spiritual care.
