Seminar on the outreach project “Sisterhood of Charity of the Brest Diocese”translated

On August 15, 2026, at the Sunday school of the parish of the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Brest, a training seminar on the outreach project “Sisterhoods of Charity of the Brest Diocese” was held for representatives of the sisterhoods of the deaneries of the diocese.

The confessor of the sisterhoods of the Brest diocese, Archpriest Sergius Chirun, informed about the goals and objectives of the project.

Secretary of the Council of Sisterhoods of the Brest Diocese E.M. Morozova said that this project is timed to coincide with the Year of the Belarusian Woman and is of a missionary nature, since mobile stands contain information about the diverse social services of the sisterhoods of the diocese. Each deanery has its own version of mobile stands.

The sisters received practical information on how to work with this exhibition in various audiences: Sunday schools, parishes, educational institutions, and enterprises.

With the help of stands, every visitor to the exhibition will be able to learn about what the Gospel says about mercy, information about the holy myrrh-bearing women, about the holy heavenly intercessors of the Belarusian land, about how and where the sisters perform deeds of mercy.
