The nuns are right to take the floor. In our own monastery of Agia Paraskevi in Patras, the old lady always told us stories from her early years and taught us to write them ourselves. It is not rare that their own testimonies remain unknown.
That's a good point about the sisters telling their own stories. Our parish had a visiting nun from a Greek monastery last year who shared how she started baking prosphora as a young novice, and it was the first time I heard those details straight from her instead of a book. Makes you realize how much gets lost when someone else writes it for them.
