The Agritech campus in Iasi was inaugurated in the presence of Metropolitan Teofantranslated

The dual Agritech campus of the "Ion Ionescu de la Brad" University of Life Sciences was inaugurated on Monday in Ezăreni, near the city of Iași, informs Agerpres.

The opening was attended by the interim Minister of Education and Research, Mihai Dimian, His Holiness Father Teofan, the Metropolitan of Moldova and Bucovina, representatives of the university environment, the administration and economic partners.

The Agritech Campus will be able to accommodate approximately 200 pupils and 100 students, including young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, offering them modern study conditions, accommodation and practical training in an essential field for the development of agriculture and the food industry.

The rector of the university, Gerard Jităreanu, emphasized that the project, financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, was carried out in a short time and represents an important step for the development of professional and technical education in the region.
