On September 17, on the day of celebration in honor of the icon of the Mother of God, called the “Burning Bush,” Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospassky performed the Divine Liturgy in the church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God “Burning Bush” in Ulyanovsk.

His Eminence was served by the sacristan of the church, Archpriest Nikolai Arkhangelsky, Archpriest Nikolai Vasiliev, Priest Igor Kazachkov, the head of the protocol service of the Simbirsk diocesan administration, Priest Valery Stavrovsky, Deacon Grigory Shevchenko, and Deacon Alexy Terekhin.
