Big autumn marathon for the fifth anniversary of the Odintsovo diocesetranslated

On August 30, 2026, in the park of culture, sports and recreation in the city of Odintsovo, with the blessing of Archbishop Thomas of Odintsovo and Krasnogorsk, the Great Autumn Marathon took place. The meeting was dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Odintsovo diocese. The youth of the Odintsovo diocese organized a holiday at the beginning of the school year for students of Sunday schools of the Odintsovo diocese and for all guests of the park.  Delegations from Sunday schools and youth clubs arrived in Odintsovo.

A prayer service was held on the main stage of the park before the new school year; everyone present was sprinkled with Holy water. The concert was attended by groups from different parishes of the diocese. Those gathered were greeted by the head of the Sunday school sector of the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Odintsovo Diocese, priest Alexander Krasilnikov, the chairman of the youth commission, priest Sergiy Zolotov, and the person responsible for physical culture and sports of the Odintsovo diocese, priest Nikolai Kurenkov.
