The dean and clergy of the Aksai district visited the Don Rescue Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russiatranslated

On September 30, 2026, the dean of the parishes of the Aksai district, Hieromonk Vikenty (Svistunov), co-served by the rector of the Holy Spiritual Church in the village of Shchepkin, Priest Seraphim Smorkalov, and the cleric of the Assumption Church in Aksai, Priest Nikolai Gurov, performed a prayer service in the chapel of St. John the Warrior, located on the territory of the DSC of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

At the end of the prayer service, the rite of consecration of the non-residential premises of the center, where the personnel operate, was performed.

As part of the visit, a conversation between the clergy and the command of the Don Rescue Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia took place, in which the head of the Federal State Institution “Donskoy SC of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia” Ivan Pakhomov took part. During the meeting, issues of further cooperation were discussed.
