Workshops for families: Communication and character formation of children, for the attention of Romanians in Sicilytranslated

Members of parish communities in Sicily recently participated in family training workshops. Discussions focused on improving family communication and building children's character.

Father Mihai Gabriel Ichim, the parish priest from Catania, and Father Martinian Epure, the parish priest from Palermo, organized these events within the Family School project, the theme falling within the Year of Homage 2026, dedicated by the Romanian Patriarchate to the pastoral care of the Christian family.

The trainings were supported by Oana Moșoiu, university lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Bucharest, and Romeo Moșoiu, adviser for the relationship with cults within the Ministry of Education and organizer of networks for the training of parents, teachers and leaders from parishes in the country and abroad.
