Thank you for writing. It’s interesting that they included the Soviet period in the program - it was unexpected. And they do Cossack romances well, I’ve heard them before.

It is interesting that they also included the Soviet period in the program. But spiritual poems and folk songs always sound good in this performance. It's a pity that we don't have such an ensemble in Vinnytsia, I would listen to it live.

Интересно, что они советский период тоже включили, как и Галина отметила. У нас в хоре тоже иногда поют народные и духовные, но казачьи романсы у «СоГласия» всегда особенно душевно выходят. Жаль, что в Германии такое редко услышишь на открытой площади.

I'm glad that they also put the Soviet period in the program, I didn't expect it. Folk songs and spirituals sound best on them, in my opinion. I would have liked to see this concert live, here in Iași we don't really have anything like that on the street.

The bit about turning the whole programme into a tour through different eras of Russian culture caught my eye. Nice they mixed in Soviet-era songs too, though I’d probably have been most keen to hear the spiritual verses and казачьи романсы live on an open square like that. We don’t get many concerts like it here in Melbourne either.

I'm also glad that they included the Soviet period, otherwise the program would have been a bit incomplete. Here in Craiova, at the festival at the church, last year they sang more carols and hymns, but the audience stayed more in the shade than in the sun. Did you see any video from the concert in Kemerovo?

Yes, I saw a short video from them on YouTube, even the Cossack romance part sounded very clean. At our festival in Craiova, the audience actually kind of hid in the shade, you're right, as if it was too hot to extend. Do you think they would go ahead and include something from the Soviet era in the church concert this year?
