Bishop's Liturgy on Krasnogorsk City Daytranslated

On September 12, on the day of the Council of New Martyrs and Confessors of Krasnogorsk and the day of the 94th anniversary of Krasnogorsk, the Divine Liturgy took place in the St. Nicholas Cathedral of Krasnogorsk, which was led by Archbishop Thomas of Odintsovo and Krasnogorsk.

Concelebrating with the Most Reverend Bishop were:

— Secretary of the Diocesan Council of the Odintsovo Diocese, head of the secretariat of the World Russian People's Council, rector of St. Nicholas Cathedral, Priest Vasily Losev;

- Dean of the Krasnogorsk Deanery District, Archpriest Vladimir Shaforostov

- clergy of the diocese.

The head of the Krasnogorsk city district Dmitry Volkov, the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergei Kolunov, the chairman of the council of deputies of the Krasnogorsk city district Sergei Trifonov, as well as parishioners prayed at the festive service.

After the special litany, Archbishop Thomas offered a prayer for Holy Russia.

At the end of the liturgy, His Eminence addressed those gathered with an archpastoral speech, in which he congratulated the head of the Krasnogorsk city district, Dmitry Volkov, and those present on City Day!
