Archbishop Nikanor took part in the opening of the educational forum “Education - the energy of the future”translated

On September 25, the VII Yuzhno-Sakhalin educational forum “Education is the energy of the future” started in the island capital. The event, which has become a traditional platform for the exchange of experience, this year brought together about 2 thousand participants: teachers, federal experts, government officials, children and parents.

Representatives of the regional government, city administration, heads of specialized institutions and leading experts in the field of education took part in the opening ceremony. The forum was joined by delegations from the region's districts, as well as honored guests from Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Vladikavkaz, Krasnoyarsk, Blagoveshchensk, Irkutsk, Sukhoi Log and Kazakhstan.

As part of the ceremonial part, parting words were heard from the mayor of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Sergei Nadsadin, the Minister of Education of the Sakhalin Region Anastasia Kikteva, the Archbishop of Yuzhno-Sakhalin and Kuril Nikanor, the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Sakhalin Region Lyubov Ustinovskaya.
