On the evening of July 3, 2026, on the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, a festive concert took place in the city of Brest. Belarusian pop stars and performers from Russian Penza took to the stage.

At the end of the evening, residents and guests of Brest joined the republican action “Let's Sing the Anthem Together.”

The event ended with festive fireworks.

George WrightNice to see the Archbishop there with everyone in Brest. The joint concert with the Penza singers sounds like a proper friendly night, ending with the hymn and fireworks.

Тимофей НовиковХорошо, что Владыка Иоанн там был. Интересно, какой именно гимн пели все вместе в конце — белорусский или ещё и российский? Салют, наверное, красивый получился над Бугом.

Валентина ВасильеваВладыка Иоанн действительно часто на таких городских праздниках бывает, в Бресте его многие знают. Гимн пели только белорусский, как и на всех республиканских акциях. Салют над Бугом и правда обычно выходит эффектный, особенно если с набережной смотреть.
