The Archdiocese of Romanui and Bacău aims to provide supplies for 7,000 children and young people who stood out through their involvement in the diocesan program "Summer School - Christ, the way of our family".
In the message presenting the initiative, the representatives of the diocese highlighted the solidarity dimension of the campaign: "At the beginning of a new school year, when emotion settles again in the souls of children, we have the opportunity to transform caring for our neighbors into a concrete gesture of love and Christian solidarity."
Each package has a value of 15 lei and contains notebooks, pens, timetable and other necessary supplies. The Archdiocese of Roman and Bacău emphasizes that the project aims to transform faith into concrete support for those in need.
"We believe that the true measure of a community can be seen in the way it knows how to be close to those in need, and the Church is called, by its very vocation, to transform faith into action and love into giving," the representatives of the diocese said.
Those who wish to support the project can find more details on the website of the Archdiocese of Romania and Bacău.
