Argeşul will celebrate the legacy of the Bessarabian Dynasty through a festival dedicated to history, art and faithtranslated

Argeș County will celebrate the legacy of the Bessarabian Dynasty through a series of events, which will take place in the municipalities of Curtea de Argeș and Pitești, on September 25 and 26.

According to a press release, the program aims to "recover, promote and capitalize on the historical, spiritual and cultural heritage left by the Bessarabian Dynasty", bringing together research, literature, visual arts, music and tradition.

The events are part of the National Science and Arts Festival "Basarab Fest", organized for the third year.

The legacy of the Bessarabians, for the attention of researchers The first day, September 25, is reserved for the historical and academic dimension. At the Curtea de Argeș Municipal Museum, starting at 12:00, the scientific symposium "The Legacy of the Bessarabian Dynasty" will take place.

The program includes communications and speeches by personalities from academic and church life, including Archbishop Calinic of Argeș and Muscel, academician Ioan-Aurel Pop and Father Professor Constantin Necula.

During the event, the anthology of the 2025 edition of the festival, coordinated by Claudiu Dumitrache, will be launched.
