Yes, small reunions are the key, as Peter said. St. Francis did not sit around waiting for big deals, but went to the sultan and talked humanly. There was a similar feeling when some years ago in our parish we organized several quiet evenings for conversation with Catholics from the neighboring church - nothing big, but people opened up.
