My cousin was a paramedic that morning down near the towers. Nigro's account of the chaos and those firefighters running in hits home every time. Twenty-five years later and the city still feels it.

I remember how the news showed how these guys in full ammunition were running into the towers, and everyone else was running outside. Respect for people like Nigro and his guys is huge. My brother-in-law in New York then had a firefighter friend who went missing, and we still remember him.
