On July 30, in the Victory Park of the city of Furmanov, the grand opening of the monument to the commander of the Airborne Forces, Hero of the Soviet Union, Army General V.F. Margelov. The event was attended by the dean of the Furmanovsky district, Archpriest Vladimir Kozlov. The priest consecrated the monument and addressed those gathered with a pastoral word.
