Today we have a commemoration of the transfer of the relics of Saints Cyr and John. I always like to read about anarginines, meaning those who heal for free. In the morning prayer, I mentioned them and asked for their intercession for my eldest son, who has had back pain for some time.

Glad you brought that up, Carla. Saints Kyr and Ioannis are among my favorite saints, I remember when my wife and I went to their church in Athens and we were impressed by how many people went there for back and leg pain. I will also remember them today for your child, I hope he passes quickly.
