On July 28, on the feast of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duke Vladimir, celebrated as the Day of the Baptism of Rus', the assistant dean for missionary work of the Vichuga district, Deacon Sergius Bezzubov, together with active parishioners of the parish of the Resurrection Cathedral, held a missionary event in the city of Vichuga. Participants in the event handed passers-by missionary booklets prepared by the Synodal Missionary Department and replicated by the Ivanovo-Voznesensk Diocese. During the event, the organizers told the townspeople about the spiritual significance of the Baptism of Rus and invited everyone to participate in church life.
