On September 22, a meeting of the Bishops' Council of the Ivanovo Metropolis took place under the chairmanship of Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga.

The council includes: the governor of the Kineshma diocese, Bishop Hilarion of Kineshma and Palekh, and the governor of the Shuya diocese, Bishop Ioann of Shuisky and Teikovsky. Secretary of the Bishops' Council - Hegumen Vitaly (Utkin).

The focus of the meeting participants was the issues of interaction between the Ivanovo-Voznesensk, Kineshma and Shuya dioceses in the matter of social service, the development of relevant projects and initiatives. In this regard, a report was heard from the coordinator for social service of the Ivanovo Metropolis S.A. Lukishin about activities in January-September 2026. The secretary of the Ivanovo-Voznesensk Diocesan Administration, Priest Georgy Vityazev, took part in the work of the council.
