09/02/2026 Metropolitan Joseph led the service of the Divine Liturgy at the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Ivanovotranslated

On September 2, on the feast day of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the feast of Saints Theodore and John of Suzdal, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Ivanovo.

During the service in the cathedral there was an ark with part of the relics of Saints Theodore and John.

Concelebrating with the Bishop were Hieromonk Macarius (Markish), Priest Mikhail Kupriyanov and Hierodeacon Andrey (Datsko).

Metropolitan Joseph read a prayer for Holy Russia and glorified Saints Theodore and John of Suzdal.

The Apostle read Hierodeacon Barnabas (Laguta), the Gospel was read by Hierodeacon Andrey (Datsko).

Liturgical hymns were performed by Valentina Davydova.

The subdeacons were Hierodeacon Varnava (Laguta) and Reader Ilya Novikov.
