¹ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

² On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

³ And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail.

⁴ And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.

⁵ And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.

⁹ And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.

¹⁰ And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.

¹⁶ Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.

³⁴ Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

³⁵ And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

⁵¹ So was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the LORD. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; even the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, did he put among the treasures of the house of the LORD.

¹ Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.

⁴ And they brought up the ark of the LORD, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, even those did the priests and the Levites bring up.

⁵ And king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel, that were assembled unto him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

⁶ And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims.

⁷ For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.

⁹ There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

¹⁰ And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,

¹¹ So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

²⁷ Y acabados estos días, al octavo día, y en adelante, sacrificarán los sacerdotes sobre el altar vuestros holocaustos y vuestros pacíficos; y me seréis aceptos, dice el Señor Jehová.

¹ Y TORNOME hacia la puerta de afuera del santuario, la cual mira hacia el oriente; y estaba cerrada.

² Y díjome Jehová: Esta puerta ha de estar cerrada: no se abrirá, ni entrará por ella hombre, porque Jehová Dios de Israel entró por ella; estará por tanto cerrada.

³ Para el príncipe; el príncipe, él se sentará en ella para comer pan delante de Jehová: por el camino de la entrada de la puerta entrará, y por el camino de ella saldrá.

⁴ Y llevóme hacia la puerta del norte por delante de la casa, y miré, y he aquí, la gloria de Jehová había henchido la casa de Jehová: y caí sobre mi rostro.

³⁹ And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda;

⁴⁰ And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.

⁴¹ And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:

⁴² And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.

⁴³ And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

⁴⁴ For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

⁴⁵ And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

⁴⁶ And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

⁴⁷ And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

⁴⁸ For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

⁴⁹ For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.

⁵⁶ And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her own house.

¹ TENIA empero también el primer pacto reglamentos del culto, y santuario mundano.

² Porque el tabernáculo fué hecho: el primero, en que estaban las lámparas, y la mesa, y los panes de la proposición; lo que llaman el Santuario.

³ Tras el segundo velo estaba el tabernáculo, que llaman el Lugar Santísimo;

⁴ El cual tenía un incensario de oro, y el arca del pacto cubierta de todas partes alrededor de oro; en la que estaba una urna de oro que contenía el maná, y la vara de Aarón que reverdeció, y las tablas del pacto;

⁵ Y sobre ella los querubines de gloria que cubrían el propiciatorio; de las cuales cosas no se puede ahora hablar en particular.

⁶ Y estas cosas así ordenadas, en el primer tabernáculo siempre entraban los sacerdotes para hacer los oficios del culto;

⁷ Mas en el segundo, sólo el pontífice una vez en el año, no sin sangre, la cual ofrece por sí mismo, y por los pecados de ignorancia del pueblo:

³ Gracia sea á vosotros, y paz de Dios el Padre, y de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,

⁴ El cual se dió á sí mismo por nuestros pecados para librarnos de este presente siglo malo, conforme á la voluntad de Dios y Padre nuestro;

⁵ Al cual sea la gloria por siglos de siglos. Amén.

⁶ Estoy maravillado de que tan pronto os hayáis traspasado del que os llamó á la gracia de Cristo, á otro evangelio:

⁷ No que hay otro, sino que hay algunos que os inquietan, y quieren pervertir el evangelio de Cristo.

⁸ Mas aun si nosotros ó un ángel del cielo os anunciare otro evangelio del que os hemos anunciado, sea anatema.

⁹ Como antes hemos dicho, también ahora decimos otra vez: Si alguno os anunciare otro evangelio del que habéis recibido, sea anatema.

¹⁰ Porque, ¿persuado yo ahora á hombres ó á Dios? ¿ó busco de agradar á hombres? Cierto, que si todavía agradara á los hombres, no sería siervo de Cristo.

³⁸ Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

³⁹ And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.

⁴⁰ But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

⁴¹ And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:

⁴² But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

²⁷ And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.

²⁸ But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

⁵⁷ Y aconteció que yendo ellos, uno le dijo en el camino: Señor, te seguiré donde quiera que fueres.

⁵⁸ Y le dijo Jesús: Las zorras tienen cuevas, y las aves de los cielos nidos; mas el Hijo del hombre no tiene donde recline la cabeza.

⁵⁹ Y dijo á otro: Sígueme. Y él dijo: Señor, déjame que primero vaya y entierre á mi padre.

⁶⁰ Y Jesús le dijo: Deja los muertos que entierren á sus muertos; y tú, ve, y anuncia el reino de Dios.

⁶¹ Entonces también dijo otro: Te seguiré, Señor; mas déjame que me despida primero de los que están en mi casa.

⁶² Y Jesús le dijo: Ninguno que poniendo su mano al arado mira atrás, es apto para el reino de Dios.

¹ Y ACONTECIO que entrando en casa de un príncipe de los Fariseos un sábado á comer pan, ellos le acechaban.

² Y he aquí un hombre hidrópico estaba delante de él.

³ Y respondiendo Jesús, habló á los doctores de la ley y á los Fariseos, diciendo: ¿Es lícito sanar en sábado?

⁴ Y ellos callaron. Entonces él tomándole, le sanó, y despidióle.

⁵ Y respondiendo á ellos dijo: ¿El asno ó el buey de cuál de vosotros caerá en algún pozo, y no lo sacará luego en día de sábado?

⁶ Y no le podían replicar á estas cosas.

⁷ Y observando cómo escogían los primeros asientos á la mesa, propuso una parábola á los convidados, diciéndoles:

⁸ Cuando fueres convidado de alguno á bodas, no te sientes en el primer lugar, no sea que otro más honrado que tú esté por él convidado,

⁹ Y viniendo el que te llamó á ti y á él, te diga: Da lugar á éste: y entonces comiences con vergüenza á tener el lugar último.

¹⁰ Mas cuando fueres convidado, ve, y siéntate en el postrer lugar; porque cuando viniere el que te llamó, te diga: Amigo, sube arriba: entonces tendrás gloria delante de los que juntamente se asientan á la mesa.

¹¹ Porque cualquiera que se ensalza, será humillado; y el que se humilla, será ensalzado.

¹² Y dijo también al que le había convidado: Cuando haces comida ó cena, no llames á tus amigos, ni á tus hermanos, ni á tus parientes, ni á vecinos ricos; porque también ellos no te vuelvan á convidar, y te sea hecha compensación.

¹³ Mas cuando haces banquete, llama á los pobres, los mancos, los cojos, los ciegos;

¹⁴ Y serás bienaventurado; porque no te pueden retribuir; mas te será recompensado en la resurrección de los justos.

¹⁵ Y oyendo esto uno de los que juntamente estaban sentados á la mesa, le dijo: Bienaventurado el que comerá pan en el reino de los cielos.

¹⁶ El entonces le dijo: Un hombre hizo una grande cena, y convido á muchos.

¹⁷ Y á la hora de la cena envió á su siervo á decir á los convidados: Venid, que ya está todo aparejado.

¹⁸ Y comenzaron todos á una á excusarse. El primero le dijo: He comprado una hacienda, y necesito salir y verla; te ruego que me des por excusado.

¹⁹ Y el otro dijo: He comprado cinco yuntas de bueyes, y voy á probarlos; ruégote que me des por excusado.

²⁰ Y el otro dijo: Acabo de casarme, y por tanto no puedo ir.

²¹ Y vuelto el siervo, hizo saber estas cosas á su señor. Entonces enojado el padre de la familia, dijo á su siervo: Ve presto por las plazas y por las calles de la ciudad, y mete acá los pobres, los mancos, y cojos, y ciegos.

²² Y dijo el siervo: Señor, hecho es como mandaste, y aun hay lugar.

²³ Y dijo el señor al siervo: Ve por los caminos y por los vallados, y fuérza los á entrar, para que se llene mi casa.

²⁴ Porque os digo que ninguno de aquellos hombres que fueron llamados, gustará mi cena.

²⁵ Y muchas gentes iban con él; y volviéndose les dijo:

²⁶ Si alguno viene á mí, y no aborrece á su padre, y madre, y mujer, é hijos, y hermanos, y hermanas, y aun también su vida, no puede ser mi discípulo.

²⁷ Y cualquiera que no trae su cruz, y viene en pos de mí, no puede ser mi discípulo.

²⁸ Porque ¿cuál de vosotros, queriendo edificar una torre, no cuenta primero sentado los gastos, si tiene lo que necesita para acabarla?

²⁹ Porque después que haya puesto el fundamento, y no pueda acabarla, todos los que lo vieren, no comiencen á hacer burla de él,

³⁰ Diciendo: Este hombre comenzó á edificar, y no pudo acabar.

³¹ ¿O cuál rey, habiendo de ir á hacer guerra contra otro rey, sentándose primero no consulta si puede salir al encuentro con diez mil al que viene contra él con veinte mil?

³² De otra manera, cuando aun el otro está lejos, le ruega por la paz, enviándo le embajada.

³³ Así pues, cualquiera de vosotros que no renuncia á todas las cosas que posee, no puede ser mi discípulo.

³⁴ Buena es la sal; mas si aun la sal fuere desvanecida, ¿con qué se adobará?

³⁵ Ni para la tierra, ni para el muladar es buena; fuera la arrojan. Quien tiene oídos para oir, oiga.
