    📜 Život svätého
    Archanjel Gabriel je uctievaný ako jeden z hlavných anjelov v pravoslávnej tradícii, jeho meno znamená „Boh je moja sila“. Jeho úloha je pevne stanovená vo Svätom písme: zjavil sa kňazovi Zachariášovi, aby oznámil narodenie Jána Krstiteľa (Lk 1,11-20), a neskôr Panne Márii, aby oznámil vtelenie Krista (Lk 1,26-38). Tieto božské oznámenia sú ústredným prvkom pravoslávneho chápania Gabrielovej služby. Synaxis archanjela Gabriela sa slávi každoročne 26. marca (v niektorých tradíciách 8. apríla), na pamiatku jeho služby a príhovoru. Ako nebeský posol je Gabriel uctievaný pre svoje verné oznamovanie Božej vôle ľudstvu a stelesňujúci úlohu anjela niesť Božie zjavenie. Jeho sviatok sa oslavuje hymnami a modlitbami na počesť jeho posvätnej funkcie v nebeskom hostiteľovi.

    Svätý mučeník Golinduc z Perzie, uctievaný v šiestom storočí, sa spomína ako šľachtic, ktorý sa vytrvalo odmietal vzdať svojej kresťanskej viery počas obdobia intenzívneho prenasledovania za vlády Sassanidov. Historické záznamy o jeho živote sú riedke, ale pravoslávna tradícia uchováva jeho svedectvo ako jedného z mnohých veriacich, ktorí trpeli pre Krista v Perzii. Je pripomínaný medzi mučeníkmi, ktorí podstúpili mučenie a smrť za svoju neochvejnú oddanosť evanjeliu, stelesňujúcu odvahu Cirkvi v nepriateľskej krajine. Jeho sviatok sa dodržiava v pravoslávnom liturgickom kalendári, čo je dôkazom trvalého odkazu tých, ktorí si zvolili mučeníctvo pred odpadlíctvom. Cirkev si ctí túto pamiatku ako mocné svedectvo o neotrasiteľnej Kristovej pravde, ktorej svetlo presvitá temnotou prenasledovania a inšpiruje generácie, aby sa pevne držali viery až do smrti.

    Svätý Julián je uctievaný ako prvý biskup z Le Mans (staroveký Cenomanis) v Galii. Historické záznamy, vrátane raných cirkevných zoznamov a Synaxarion pravoslávnej cirkvi, ho identifikujú ako počiatočného biskupa tejto stolice, založenej v ranokresťanskom období. V pravoslávnom liturgickom kalendári je pripomínaný ako svätec a biskup. Zatiaľ čo presné dátumy jeho episkopátu nie sú definitívne zaznamenané, tradične sa spája s 1. alebo začiatkom 2. storočia, čo odráža obdobie, keď sa v Galii začalo udomácňovať kresťanstvo. Jeho odkaz je zachovaný v kostole Le Mans, kde je uznávaný ako základná osobnosť. V široko uznávaných historických alebo cirkevných prameňoch nie sú doložené žiadne konkrétne zázraky ani podrobné udalosti z jeho života.     📜 Život svätého
    Saint Photios Kontoglou (1895–1965) bol známy grécky pravoslávny ikonopisec, teológ a spisovateľ. Narodil sa v Konštantínopole (Istanbul) v roku 1895 a svoj život zasvätil obnove a propagácii tradičnej pravoslávnej ikonografie. Študoval umenie v Aténach a neskôr veľa cestoval, pričom do hĺbky študoval staré byzantské a ruské techniky maľby ikon. Kontoglou sa stal kľúčovou postavou v oživení autentickej ikonografie v pravoslávnej cirkvi v 20. storočí, pričom zdôrazňoval teologickú hĺbku a duchovné vyjadrenie pred obyčajným umeleckým napodobňovaním. Jeho spisy vrátane „Význam ikon“ a „Život Krista“ hlboko ovplyvnili pravoslávne chápanie sakrálneho umenia. Slúžil ako kňaz a bol známy svojím asketickým životom a oddanosťou pravoslávnej tradícii. Saint Photios zomrel v Aténach 30. júna 1965 (Starý kalendár) a zanechal po sebe trvalé dedičstvo prostredníctvom svojich ikon, teologických diel a svojej úlohy pri revitalizácii pravoslávnej umeleckej praxe. Jeho sviatok sa pripomína 30. júna.

9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:

10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.

11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?

2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
