City residents and parishioners of the Oshmyany Resurrection Church organized a charity fair - Pokrovsky Kirmashtranslated

On October 11, with the blessing of the rector of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ, Archpriest George Mucha, and with his direct support, the charitable “Pokrovsky Kirmash” was held on the church grounds - a living testimony of how much love can do when it is embodied in concrete work for the sake of one’s own church.
The sisters of the sisterhood in honor of the Holy Great Martyr Varvara prepared a variety of goodies for the parishioners and visiting customers: here you could find homemade “Varvarinsky Zakatki” pickles, fresh vegetables, root vegetables and fruits from the garden, eggs from domestic chickens, nuts and dried fruits “Varvarinsky Healthy Sweets”, baked goods, apple and pumpkin juices, handmade kerchiefs, warm socks and much more other.
Two obediences, which have already become a good tradition of sisterhood, occupied a special place in the preparation for the holiday.
The first is “Sister Tea”. Through the efforts of sisters Ksenia, Maria and Valentina, environmentally friendly herbal collections were created for the fair. “Spicy Autumn” is a warming antiviral collection with notes of ginger, anise, orange and cinnamon. “Dawn Garden” is a delicate blend of fireweed tea, currants and garden leaves. “Warmth of Heart” - a soothing collection with mint, lemon balm and petals...
