THE DUKE OF JELU CELEBRATES HIS CHURCH FESTIVALtranslated

Residents and guests of the village of Zhelyu Voivoda will celebrate the village's church holiday with a festive program on November 7 and 8.

The festivities begin on November 7 (Saturday) at 5:00 p.m. with a festive evening in front of the community center. Special guests Nikolina Savova and Gabriela Ivanova, the "Elhovo" orchestra, as well as talented children from the village will participate in the program.

November 8 (Sunday) is the feast of the local church "Saint Michael the Archangel". From 8:00 a.m. a solemn Holy Liturgy will be celebrated, and from 12:30 p.m. the traditional Kurban for health and well-being will be distributed.

Organizers of the events are Zhelyu Voivoda City Hall, Daskal Dimitar Dimov 1908 People's Community Center, the church board and the Municipality of Sliven, with the assistance of sponsors.

The holidays are an occasion to preserve local traditions, share joy and pray for the health, peace and well-being of the villagers.
