Zheleznogorsk Cadet Corps celebrated the 18th anniversary of its formationtranslated

On October 8, on the day of memory of St. Sergius of Radonezh, the cadet corps solemnly celebrated the 18th anniversary of its formation. For the educational institution, this holiday has a special meaning: the creation of the corps and the presentation of its banner were timed precisely to coincide with the day of memory of St. Sergius, who became the heavenly patron of the cadet corps. The banner of the corps depicts St. Sergius of Radonezh, and the main shrine of the educational institution is a written icon of this saint of God.
The event was attended by the dean of the Zheleznogorsk church district, rector of the Cathedral of the Archangel Michael, Archpriest Roman Neshcheret. He delivered a welcoming speech and blessed the team of teachers and students. Congratulating the pupils, Father Roman briefly recalled the life of the holy saint of God, noting that St. Sergius is a faithful son of the Fatherland, a true child of God and a faithful child of his parents, thereby setting an example for all of us. The priest also emphasized that St. Sergius is known as the spiritual patron of our country, and the Trinity-Sergius Lavra founded by him is famous not only in Russia, but also abroad.
On this day, the strict statutory routine gave way...
