Good to see the Синодальный отдел putting real work into this. Our parish had a couple families with kids on the spectrum who stopped coming because the services felt overwhelming. Training folks to make it accessible is practical help that matters.

We also had one family in Yaroslavl with an autistic boy who was very frightened by the ringing of bells and long services. It’s good that now there is such training, maybe our priests and choristers will take something useful from these webinars. Thanks to the Synodal Department for the work.

Our parish had one boy who would cover his ears and bolt at the first loud "Lord, have mercy." Makes sense the bells and long services were too much. Glad the Синодальный отдел is actually training people on this instead of just talking about it.

There was one girl with us in Batumi, who was covering her ears and crying at the sound of the bell. It is good that the synodal department specifically started teaching about this, not just talking about it.
