Meeting of the parents' club at the CCROiR “Step towards”translated

On October 15, 2026, as part of the Republican Week of Parental Love, a meeting of the parent club “Step towards” was held at the State Educational Institution “Drogichinsky District Center for Correctional and Developmental Education and Rehabilitation”.

With the blessing of the rector of the church, St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk in the city of Drogichin, Archpriest John Pinchuk, the event was attended by sisters of the Sisterhood of Charity of the Holy Martyr Princess Elizabeth Feodorovna, operating at the church. The event was timed to coincide with the celebration of Mother's Day, which opens the parent's week and coincides with the great Orthodox holiday of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Theme of the event: “The female face of Belarus. Talking about what’s important: the art of being a mother.” At the meeting, stories were told about outstanding women of our country and, in particular, of the Drogichin region, from the origins of history to the present day.

The sisters of the Sisterhood of Charity prepared a speech in which they emphasized that Christian women have always been models of love, fidelity, compassion and everyday care.
