On September 11, a meeting of the working group on preparation for the XII Regional Pokrovsky educational readings “Christian teaching about man and the challenges of modern technologies” was held at the Gomel diocesan administration.

The working group included representatives of the main department of education, the Gomel Regional Institute for Educational Development and clergy of the Gomel diocese.

Regional Pokrovsky educational readings are an annual regional public-church forum that brings together representatives of government, clergy, science and education to discuss spiritual and moral values ​​and current challenges of our time. The readings are held within the framework of the Cooperation Program between the main education department of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee and the Gomel and Turov dioceses of the BOC and precede the Belarusian educational Christmas readings in Minsk and the International Christmas educational readings in Moscow.
