Metropolitan Ekaterinburg and Verkhoturye Evgeniy spoke about the need to unite efforts of representatives of different faiths during the press approach before the plenary session of the V Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference “Interreligious Dialogue in the Urals” and in his personal channel.

Artificial intelligence, biotechnology and military conflicts are the main challenges that can only be confronted in the unity of our society, capable of meaningful conversation about spiritual and moral education, interreligious cooperation and the preservation of civil harmony.

“It is very important for us, in dialogue with representatives of other traditional religions, to develop an attitude - how we relate to the challenges of artificial intelligence, to biotechnology, how we respond to the challenges of the Northern Military District or military conflicts that occur in the world,” noted Bishop Evgeniy.

The Metropolitan emphasized: conflicts in the Middle East and Africa should not become ours. At the same time, good relations between clergy of different religions should be an example for everyday communication between people - in cities and villages.
