It is interesting that in the OCU calendar for September 7, 2026, the transfer of the relics of the Apostle Bartholomew is again mentioned. And the UOC is probably the same. Who knows if the weather will be good for fishing on this day, because the omen of rain on Bartholomew always comes true in our region.

It almost always rains here in Samara on Bartholomew, so I haven't planned fishing on this day for a long time. But a cheesecake for a picnic is a good idea, my wife bakes it according to her recipe, with raisins. Who knows, maybe in 2026 the omen won't work at least once? 😊
