The XXIX Pokrovsky Readings opened with an exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of His Holiness Patriarch Kirilltranslated

On October 12, in the assembly hall of the main building of the Pridnestrovian State University named after T. G. Shevchenko, the opening of the XXIX Republican scientific and educational conference “Pokrovsky Readings” took place, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus', the Feast of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Year of the Pridnestrovian People and the Day of the City of Tiraspol. Before the start of the conference, an exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill opened. The exhibition is dedicated to the life path of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church and his Primate ministry, as well as a visit to the Tiraspol-Dubossary diocese in 2013. The plenary session was opened by the University Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor V. N. Bosyuk. Present at the presidium were His Eminence Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary, Head of the State Service for Management of Documentation and Archives of the PMR Z. G.
