Welcome to the Diocese!

Summertime brings us seminary graduations, assignments, and other good news around the Diocese. In brief:

Father Mark Solomon began his ministry as rector of St. Jacob Church in Bend, OR. Fr. George Khristich, who was serving in Calhan, has agreed to serve our St. Moses Mission in Helena, Montana. The Diocese is heavily supporting us having a full-time priest for the first time in Helena. Thanks, Fr. George! We welcome home Fr. Tikhon Krueger who graduated from St. Tikhon’s Seminary; he is the new rector of Holy Dormition Church, Calhan, CO. Another graduating seminarian, Reader Alexei Listvinsky from St. Vladimir’s Seminary, is taking a full-time position as Pastoral Assistant at Holy Trinity Cathedral, San Francisco, CA. He will occasionally assist His Grace with travel and liturgical responsibilities, as well. Fr. John Jensen, a student in our Priesthood Formation Cohort, was ordained in July. He will be assisting at Annunciation Church, Milwaukie, OR. Fr. Volodymir Telizhenko was formally received into the Orthodox Church in America; he continues serving as Associate Priest at Holy Virgin Cathedral, Los Angeles, CA.
