WCC central committee moderator to offer keynote at public theology conference in Korea

World Council of Churches (WCC) central committee moderator Bishop Prof. Dr Heinrich Bedford-Strohm will offer the keynote address at a public theology conference to be convene in Korea from 28 September through 1 October.

Hosted by the Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea Hanshin University Graduate School of Public Theology and Science Council, Berkeley Forum Center, and online, the conference will explore the theme "Public Theology, Civil Society, and Sociobiology.”

The gathering is being held in honor of Prof. Dr Jürgen Moltmann.

Bedford-Strohm, who also serves as the European representative and senior advisor for the Berkeley Forum Center, will explore “ Language of Life, Public Theology, and Natural Science” in his keynote.

Panel discussions will cover topics such as “ Ecumenical Public Theology and the Korean Church,” and “ Dialogue Between Science and Religion.”
