“Dear Andrey Evgenievich! Dear Victoria Anatolyevna! Dear teachers, members of parent committees and councils of fathers! Dear forum participants and guests!

I cordially welcome all of you to the Regional Forum of Parental Committees of the Rostov Region.

First of all, I would like to thank the Ministry of Education of the Rostov Region and personally Victoria Anatolyevna Chernyshova for the invitation to take part in this meeting and for the initiative itself to bring together parents, teachers, government officials, public organizations and the Church today.

More than eight hundred people in one hall is already evidence that the conversation about education has ceased to be a matter exclusively for specialists. We understand more and more clearly: the future of our children is created not only at the school desk. It is created at home, at the family table, in the conversation of father with son and mother with daughter, in the attitude of adults to each other, in the atmosphere that the child breathes every day.

And therefore I would like to start with simple questions: why is there a need to specially gather such forums today? Why do we need separate platforms, programs, committees, councils, conferences for conversations between families and schools?…
