His Eminence the Bishop celebrated the Divine Liturgy and presbyteral ordination on the 16th Sunday after Pentecosttranslated

On September 20, the 16th Sunday after Pentecost, before the Exaltation, and the day of remembrance of the holy martyr Sozont, His Eminence Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ. The cathedral clergy concelebrated with the Most Reverend Bishop. During the Divine Liturgy, the Gospel Conception from Matthew (Matthew 25:14–30) was read, telling the parable of the Lord Jesus Christ about the talents. In it, the Savior talks about a master who, setting off on a journey, handed over an estate to his slaves, each according to his strength, expecting to see the fruit they brought upon their return. This gospel parable reminds us that every gift a person receives from God entails responsibility for its multiplication and bearing fruit to the glory of God. After the Great Entrance, His Eminence Vladyka consecrated Deacon Gennady Gnatyuk as a presbyter.
According to custom, before performing the Sacrament, His Eminence addressed the person being ordained with a word of archpastoral instruction, recalling the high dignity and responsibility of the priestly service ahead of him.
