His Eminence the Archpastor celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Petro-Paul Conventtranslated

On July 12, the 6th Sunday after Pentecost and the day of remembrance of the glorious and all-validated chief apostles Peter and Paul, the patronal feast was celebrated by the Peter and Paul Convent in the city of Bendery. The Divine Liturgy in the monastery church was led by the Ruling Bishop of the Tiraspol-Dubossary Diocese, His Eminence Archbishop Savva. His Eminence was served by the dean of the Bendery district, Archpriest Michael Lungu, the confessor of the monastery, Schema-Archimandrite Selafiel (Cheban), the monastery clergy, as well as a host of clergy of the Tiraspol-Dubossary diocese and the dioceses of the Moldavian Metropolis. Praying during the service were the abbess of the monastery, abbess Elisaveta (Vasilake), and her sisters, the abbess of the Holy Vvedensky-Pachomius convent, abbess Pachomius (Leshchuk), and numerous pilgrims who came to share the joy of the patronal celebration. Many believers received the Holy Mysteries of Christ on this holiday. At the end of the Divine Liturgy, a solemn procession of the cross took place around the monastery with a splendidly decorated icon of the holy supreme apostles Peter and Paul and the ark with particles of their venerable relics, which is one of the main shrines...
