On July 12, the 6th Sunday after Pentecost and the day of remembrance of the glorious and all-validated chief apostles Peter and Paul, the patronal feast was celebrated by the Peter and Paul Convent in the city of Bendery. The Divine Liturgy in the monastery church was led by the Ruling Bishop of the Tiraspol-Dubossary Diocese, His Eminence Archbishop Savva. His Eminence was served by the dean of the Bendery district, Archpriest Michael Lungu, the confessor of the monastery, Schema-Archimandrite Selafiel (Cheban), the monastery clergy, as well as a host of clergy of the Tiraspol-Dubossary diocese and the dioceses of the Moldavian Metropolis.
