On September 3, His Eminence Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary took part in the celebrations held at the Holy Dormition Caprian Monastery dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the canonization of St. Gabriel (Benulescu-Bodoni), Metropolitan of Chisinau and Khotyn. The solemn service was led by His Eminence Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova. The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Moldova was co-served by His Eminence Longinus, Metropolitan of Banchen, vicar of the Chernivtsi-Bukovina diocese, His Eminence Archbishops Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary, Anatoly of Cahul and Comrat, Markell of Balti and Falesti, John of Soroca and Drochievo, Hertsaevsky, vicar of the Chernivtsi-Bukovina diocese, Silouan, His Eminence bishops of Orhei, vicar of the Chisinau diocese, Silouan, Capriansky, vicar of the Chisinau diocese, Filaret, Ceadir-Lungsky, vicar of the Cahul diocese, Nikolai, Dondyushensky, vicar of the Edinet diocese, Patroclus.

Thank God that our Bishop Savva was there. I saw that the clergy of our diocese served together with the Moldavian brothers, it's nice to see that after so many years. What was the biggest impression from the service, if any of ours was?

It is good that Bishop Savva was there and our clerics, like Father John Kalmyk, served together with the Moldavian brothers. Ten years since the canonization of St. Gabriel (Benulescu-Bodoni) is not small, I am glad that they celebrated it so solemnly in the Caprian Monastery. Dušan, if one of our people wrote afterwards, tell us what was the strongest impression from the service.

Thank God that our high priest Sava was there. And I especially liked that the clergy of the Diocese of Tiraspol, including father Ioane Kalmik, served together with the Moldavian brothers in the Kyprian monastery. At least ten years is not a short time, it is good that Saint Gabriel was honored in this way.

Thank God, I was also happy that Bishop Savva was there. The biggest impression on me was when our clergy, led by Father Ioanna Kalmyk, sang together with the Moldovan choir - after all these years it sounded like a real homecoming.
