Patriarch Kirill's book on the Holy Scriptures has been publishedtranslated

The publishing house of the Moscow Patriarchate has published a book with the reflections of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill on the Holy Scriptures.

Edition “On the Holy Scriptures. Thoughts for every day of the year" contains 366 fragments of answers from the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church to questions regarding sacred texts, the publishing house's website reports.

These questions include: What is Holy Scripture? Why is the Bible called the Word of God? How to read it correctly so that it becomes a guide in life?

The book is aimed at everyone “who seeks to better understand the foundations of the Orthodox faith,” in particular, Sunday school students, students of theological and secular educational institutions, clergy looking for inspiration for preaching, as well as those “who are just discovering the Bible.”

The book was prepared as part of the Patriarchal Bible study program.
